I just wanted to ask a quick question since I faced a situation like that. So I was promoting about my travel agent profile on my Instagram account and soon after I promoted, I was asked to book a holiday. She also wanted to know the process like how would I be booking and stuff. I told her "I will be giving options and you choose the one which fits your need and then for payment you will need to fill out the CC authorization form."  She was like oh okay, and then politely said I would wanna look around more but thanks for your help. I could tell, it was the CC form which made her go away because up until I mentioned how the payment process works she was totally invested and I could tell she wanted to book with me, since I am an acquaintance.

Now my question is, can I offer my client to pay me first and then I book their holidays via agent card option when checking out? Kind of like invoicing them where I am setting how to receive the fund (paypal/cards/bank), and book only after payment has been received? There is no room for fraudulent booking in this manner right? If so, how can those be prevented? Because I would really want to implement a payment gateway so that the customer feels they wouldn't be subjected to credit card scam. 

Ps: I was thinking to add a charge if they decide for paying me first, as to discourage this payment method and choose the CC authorization form. 

So yeah, I wanted an advice on this and most importantly, why is it discouraged?
