Step 2: Build Your Foundation

Get started on creating your expert bio by doing the following:
  • Upload professional profile pic

  • Add years of experience

  • Add methods of contact (make sure all links work and all info is accurate)

You’ll be able to create a custom link when your profile is 100% completed and published.

This is a good example of an agent’s profile - this is what a consumer would see.

You can even add the option for consumers to schedule a video appointment with you; this is what they would see.

Step 3: Key Information

Add the following key information for SEO purposes:
  • Web display title

  • Full bio

  • Secondary title

  • Secondary text

These are examples of good titles - be specific to your niche!

The default travel image is a photo of a passport - make sure to change it! Change it to something that’s related to your niche. You can find great photos from the Marketing section.

Friendly reminder to save your work so that you don’t lose all the information you’ve inputted so far.

Step 4: Specialties

DON’T just check everything, only check the boxes that are relevant to what you’re actually focusing on.

You’ll see a text box pop up next to each specialty that you check - here you should name any kind of certification you have related to that specialty so clients know what kind of experience you have.

Next, select the suppliers that you have the most experience working with or intend on using the most as related to your niche.

You may even opt in to receive email updates from them, which we highly recommend doing as it is important to remain up to date on any special deals or important information so that you can provide the best service to your clients.

Here are examples of what some of those supplier offer emails may look like:

Lastly, select the destinations you specialize in. Think about destinations that you have traveled to yourself or are knowledgeable about.

Make sure all the specialties, destinations, and suppliers you select are relevant to your niche.

This is an example of how a profile looks to the consumer with all of the above information.

Step 5: Reviews

Reviews are a crucial component of your profile. They often are the main determining factor for clients deciding whether or not to work with a particular agent.

93% of travelers read online reviews before making a purchase decision
#1 factor among new customers is availability of reviews and recommendations
60% more likely to purchase from you if you have positive reviews
#1 factor in user experience testing is whether an agent has positive reviews
98% of reviews submitted are favorable
68% of consumers trust reviews more when they see both good and bad scores
67% improvement in conversion rate when there are bad reviews

How Reviews Work

Step 1 - Receive a lead

Step 2 - Inquiry follow up

Client will receive an email prompting them to answer whether or not you have contacted them in regards to their travel inquiry. If they select “No,” a notification will be sent to the Agency Approver, who will then contact the client. If they select “Yes,” 21 days later the client will receivean email with the Agent Satisfaction Survey.

Step 3 - Agent Satisfaction Survey

Client will answer a few questions about their booking experience. Reach out to Agency Approver to view the answers to the survey.

After a trip, your client will then be able to submit an Agent Review Form. This form includes details about the planning process with you and the trip itself.

Consumers will be able to see the following in your review section:

  • Star rating

  • Brief description of review

  • Full review text

  • Name of client and where they’re from

  • Where client traveled

  • Whether or not client would recommend the agent to family and friends

  • How many people found review helpful (prospective clients can vote on this directly)

Step 6: Remote Agent Location

It’s good to include your location because it may spark connection within your community and lead you to servicing local clients.

Step 7: Publish

Complete your profile 100% and publish it so that it can be on display for consumers to see. Upon publishing, you’ll now be able to have your own custom link as well.
