It's common for travelers to request an offset of their hotel dates to accommodate unique travel situations such as staying with friends for part of their stay or requiring a hotel stay prior to or after a cruise.

In this example, these clients that are traveling to Boston wish to stay with friends the first two nights and in a hotel for the remaining portion of their trip. A hotel offset will remove the hotel nights of stay for the portion of the trip they are staying with friends.

1. Begin with an Advanced Search and enter the departure date and total number of nights (including the first two nights your clients will stay with friends).
2. Expand the Hotel panel and enter the date your clients want to check in to the hotel.

3. To remove hotel nights at the end of the stay, modify the checkout date.
4. Once you click Search, the hotel availability will pull for the dates you just designated, instead of for the length of the entire trip.
